SATO to showcase connected Digital Product Passport solutions at EuroShop 2026
27/01/26
Hall 6 | Stand G61
27 February 2026 – Heidelberg, Germany – SATO Europe, a global provider of labelling and auto-identification solutions, will present a fully connected product journey at EuroShop 2026 in partnership with CipherLab and Argox. Under the theme “SATO – Your Full Solution Partner”, visitors will see an end-to-end workflow built around the Digital Product Passport (DPP) and powered by SATO AEP Cloud, SATO’s platform for cross-chain visibility and data continuity.
With DPP requirements approaching, SATO will demonstrate how products receive a unique digital identity at the start of their lifecycle and how this identity is enriched as items move through manufacturing, transport and logistics, e-commerce fulfilment, in-store operations and aftersales.
At the centre of the stand, the SATO AEP Cloud Solution Hub links each stage into a single ecosystem, enabling transparent, accurate and real-time access to product data across the supply chain.
SATO will show how QR and RFID identification, combined with BLE, deliver item-level transparency from day one. In production, this improves data accuracy and ensures each item carries a clean, traceable identity. In transport and logistics, the same technologies provide real-time visibility of pallets and products, while mobile verification and linerless printing help ensure the correct label and data stay matched to the correct item.
For e-commerce, integrated scan-and-print workflows and sustainable linerless solutions increase fulfilment speed and reduce errors, while continuously feeding data into the DPP without adding workload. In retail environments, SATO will demonstrate mobile markdowns, RFID relabelling for accurate stock management and AI-supported kitchen and order processes that help reduce waste and improve operational efficiency.
By the time a product reaches the consumer, the accumulated data supports transparent aftersales services, authenticity checks and a reliable digital record for recycling and regulatory reporting.
To make every step work together, SATO integrates CipherLab scanning and OCR for fast, accurate data capture. SATO smart printers are paired with Argox cost-efficient hardware to cover a wide range of labelling tasks. An extensive portfolio of labels and ribbons provides the physical foundation for reliable identification.
Together, these capabilities create a connected identification ecosystem that enables effective DPP implementation, greater operational accuracy and transparency, and confident preparedness for future regulatory and operational demands.
