SATO Business Partner Day 2024: Celebrating Innovation and Collaboration in Marrakech

Last week, between 19th and 21st June 2024, SATO hosted its Business Partner Day in the enchanting city of Marrakech, bringing together teams from across Europe and key business partners for an unforgettable event filled with innovation, networking and cultural experiences.

Arrival and Technology Showcase

The event kicked off on Wednesday afternoon with the arrival of our European team and business partners. The atmosphere was charged with excitement as attendees explored SATO’s latest technology and solutions showcased around the booths. A standout feature was the CT4-LX printer, which printed RFID-enabled wristbands for every attendee. By scanning the QR code on these wristbands, participants could access a specially-developed web app containing the event agenda and a networking feature. This innovative approach allowed attendees to connect seamlessly by simply scanning each other’s wristbands, earning points for each new connection, with prizes awarded at the end of the conference.

Evening: White Party by the Pool

As the sun set, attendees dressed in elegant all-white attire for a captivating cocktail and dinner around the pool. The evening featured a delightful mix of Mediterranean and Moroccan cuisine, accompanied by live music that set a relaxed and festive tone for the night. It was a perfect blend of networking and leisure, allowing everyone to unwind and connect in a beautiful setting.

Conference Day

The second day was dedicated to a full day of conferences and keynote speeches, running from 9 am to 5 pm. This was a pivotal day where we looked deeper at SATO’s Application Enabled Printing (AEP) and explored solutions tailored for various market segments. Keynote speakers included members from our marketing teams, sales teams, solutions teams and the Head of Europe. These sessions were informative and highlighted the collaborative efforts driving innovation in the industry. The presentations demonstrated the seamless integration of SATO’s printer hardware with partner software solutions, emphasising the importance of teamwork and technology in advancing supply chain management.

A Thousand and One Nights Arabian Dinner

The evening of 20th June transported attendees to a magical world with A Thousand and One Nights-themed Arabian dinner in the middle of the desert. Dressed in Arabic-inspired clothing, attendees were welcomed by drummers and treated to camel rides, acrobatics, belly dancing and fire-breathing pyro performances. The dinner featured local tagine made of lamb and vegetables, as well as a series of local starters. The night was truly magical, with festivities continuing under the starry desert sky, creating an unforgettable experience for all.

Departures

The final day, 21st June, marked the departure of attendees. The event concluded on a high note, leaving everyone with lasting memories of a fantastic gathering that celebrated innovation, collaboration and cultural immersion.
